You can't script your way into someone saying yes.

Most hospitality training hands people a script: the steps to say, the boxes to check, the upsell to remember. Guests can feel it. A memorized welcome lands like a memorized welcome, and the wine deserves better than that.

This works the opposite way. It builds the thing a script can’t reach: the instinct to read a room, meet a guest where they are, and tell the story of the place like it’s yours to tell. You can train someone to recite the tasting notes. You can’t recite your way into someone joining the club. That comes from connection, and connection can be taught. Just not from a card

What we work on

Reading the room. Noticing who’s in front of you and what kind of visit they came for, before you say a word.

The welcome that isn’t performed. How to open genuinely, and how to hold it when the room is slammed.

The story underneath the wine. Finding the true, specific thing about this bottle and this place that a guest will remember and repeat.

The pause, the pivot, the ask. How to move from pouring to belonging without it feeling like a sale.

Consistency without a script. So the fifth guest of the day gets the same welcome as the first, and a new hire tells the same story as the owner.

How it works

Half-day sessions, on-site, built around your own story rather than a generic curriculum. Sessions are recorded, so part-time staff and new hires can learn on their own time, and the training doesn’t walk out the door when someone does

Not only for wineries

A boutique hotel loses the return stay the same way a tasting room loses the club. A restaurant loses the regular the same way. The welcome is fine, but the story of the place never reaches the guest. Same work, different floor. If your guests are leaving satisfied but not bound to you, that’s what this builds

Where it starts

Often with an audit, a firsthand read of where the story is landing now, so the work is built on what your team actually needs rather than a guess. It can also stand on its own.. [Read about the audit →]  [Book a call →]
